Cellulite: 5 steps to get rid of it. Forever.

Cellulite is one of our eternal enemies, for every single woman on this planet. And this is happening because it does not go away if we just take care of it one month before going on holidays. When the summer is right around the corner and your legs are looking pretty dull one month’s dedication is not enough.

Am I right? Even if you ‘ve tried hard, even if you ‘ve spent a fortune on products that they promise you to get rid of it in 3 weeks time or so, you already know that this doesn’t work. It’s all about marketing and the brands and so many blog posts, you tube videos and advertisments that they create high expectations and then… disappointment is on its way.

It is not only the cream or the scrub that you choose to use. It is all about your way of thinking. Let’s say if you train your brain to make the right choices on what you are eating and how much of excersise you do, then you will realise that you can fight cellulite in a more sophisticated way.

Try to be consistent and invest 5-10 mins two to three times a week before showering. Why? Because it helps the lymphatic drainage which in turn leads to get rid of the toxins and the water retain of your body. Dry brushing combines exfoliation and massage simply by taking a dry brush and moving it over your body in slow, circular motions two to three times a week.

Since genetics play a major role in cellulite, you can just reduce it by eating more consciously. Loosing weight and cutting back on unhealthy fats, sugar, refined carbohydrates and salt can make the appearance of cellulite less apparent. Controlling the release of insulin through your diet can really make a difference. When you restrict your carbohydrate and fat intake you are also forcing your body to turn to your lipid (fat) reserve for energy.

If you really want to know how I managed to transform my body i’ve written an article about the whole procedure. Weight lifting is the only way to create muscles and even if you ‘re thinking it’s boring or it’s only for men… Nope. This is the only way. Promise. You can still do yoga, pilates or running – they are all amazing ways to get in shape- but when it comes to cellulite weight lifting is the only way. Why. Because you create muscles and with more muscles you burn calories faster and that promotes weight loss, which improves the appearance of your skin! So simply!

I’ve tried so many products so far that they promise to reduce or even vanish cellulite (!) but yeah, they ended up collecting dust at the bottom of a drawer because they just don’t deliver on their promise. Therefore, I’ve done the research for you and I chose these three-must-try anti-cellulite products:

Rose peper oil and scrub by APIVITA.

Fit lab by Eleni Petroulaki

Three amazing products which do what they promise. My skin’s been so much happier since I’ve started using them! The secret ingredient is the Tamanu oil which stimulates circulation and tightens the skin. The gel comes with a wealth of scientific research behind them. It helps break down both early and more entrenched, stubborn cellulite. The texture is lovely and creamy and has a rather cold tingly sensation when you apply it.

This body lift cellulite oil with Blue Everlasting Flower Essential Oil is specifically formulated to help to diminish the appearance of cellulite in stubborn areas. Enriched with 10 essential oils, it blurs the orange peel appearance of skin caused by water-logged tissues. NUXE Body lift cellulite oil is very fine to facilitate massaging.
